    She sends Hathach to remind her uncle that the king has not summoned her for a month—he seems not to be pleased with her—and the penalty for intruding into his courtyard is instant death!

15. Mordecai's   CONTINUED   PERSISTENCE,  (4:13a)

    Not willing to give up, Mordecai reminds her that her Compromising Position will be discovered soon enough. If she does nothing, God will use someone else to rescue His people. But both she and her family will most likely die.

16. and his      CHALLENGING PROPOSAL      (4:13b-14)

    Esther 4:14b (CSB) “Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.” Maybe God has deliberately placed you exactly where you are at just the right time. Don’t you want to serve Him faithfully by doing His perfect will for you?
