    Mordecai knows his failure to honor Haman is the reason behind Haman’s deadly plan. And the king is the only one who can overrule him. In this passage we see how a godly man solves a serious problem.

12. Mordecai's   COSTLY      PROBLEM,      (4:7)

    Mordecai has no direct personal access to either Esther or the king. But “Information is power!” He arranges for Hathach to give her information and documentation, including the exact amount Haman has agreed to pay the royal treasury in order to slaughter the Jews.

13. and his      CRITICAL    PETITION      (4:8)
