06/07/20 SIGNS OF THE TIMES: NO U-TURN — Years ago in Lynchburg, VA, after I finished seminary. I went knocking on doors, sharing the gospel with neighbors. Two Liberty University gals were with me, learning how to do it. After I had handled the first few houses by myself, one of the girls volunteered to take the next one. An elderly man answered the door. She did a great job sharing with him how he could surrender his life to Jesus and be saved. But he shook his head violently and broke down into loud crying. He said he had refused to be saved at a church service decades before. Someone told him it was too late for him—he had blown his final chance and could no longer be saved. I told him it was never too late; I shared about the thief on the cross next to Jesus in Luke 23:42-43 (CSB) “Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ 43 And He said to him, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.’” But when he abruptly slammed the door in our faces, the young women were crushed; they began sobbing uncontrollably.

No matter what anyone tells you, you CAN make a U-TURN! If any of you is not saved, it’s NOT too late! While there’s life and breath in you, you can still surrender to God, receive forgiveness for all your sins—past, present and future—and become a new creation, a blood-bought, Spirit-taught member of God’s forever family! Please, today: Make the MOST IMPORTANT U-TURN anyone could ever make!
