04/25/20 MORE PRAYER ISSUES: There are roughly 300 prayers in the Bible. No more
than a dozen mention sickness; that’s ~4%. So why is it that at least 90% of
prayer needs I hear expressed are about sickness, surgeries and doctor
appointments. Looking at the prayers in the Bible, anyone can see that Almighty
God and godly persons want to discuss many other issues with Him.
Two
suggestions: (1) Let’s intentionally pray about those other concerns—our personal
holiness, salvation for folks in our families and circles of influence, the
effectiveness of our churches, the realization of God’s kingdom, etc. and (2)
